corporate diaries #4

Is that time of the year.
That time of the year that ignites that super deep self reflection.

So here's a piece of my year end #thoughts. 💭

Humor and professionalism can coexist. A comedy based therapy will save us from tragedy, in the end. Laughter is the best medicine.

With that being said, I think is funny that we keep attempting to foster a better #mentalhealth culture, while posting ads that advertise the fast paced, constant changing working environments.

BREAKING NEWS: I don't know anyone, that by now, is not used to work under pressure, in a constant changing, fast paced, working environment. We are the "fast-paced-under-pressure-nothing-can-wait-for-tomorrow-i-am-clueless-about-time-zones" generation. To make it current and "simple", we are: GEN FPUPNCWFTIACATZ (yes, you right, this is the acronym for my compounded description).

And yes, maybe eradicating such expressions, from all job ads, in this world wi(l)de web, is not that big of a deal, you know... But, something tells me that starting with a coherent collective narrative, can lead to higher cohesion and sense of #wellbeing

Fast will not go anywhere. Fast is here to stay, so don't drift in that FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out) feeling. Re set the tone on the pressure you exercise on others but, mostly, on yourself and, maybe, with a little bit of humor in between, you will be able to slow down. ☺️

Happy New Year🎉
