I was surfing on the web the other day and started to search for content on the topic ‘elder care leave’. 🧓👵

I guess I wanted to see if, some country, some company, somewhere, would have had an inspiring outside out of the box idea. 📤
I must confess that I didn’t find much, so if anyone knows about something, please share it with me.

Although, we have a big societal emphasis on maternity and paternity leaves, for obvious biological reasons, we do not give, collectively, importance to filiality. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦👩‍👩‍👧‍👦👨‍👨‍👧‍👦

(bring that fam emoji with grandma and grandpa, please 😅)

I don’t think there’s an easy solution for this problem, but as our work becomes more and more metaphysical and as we start to internalise that productivity and flexibility can coexist, it brings me hope to balance this inequality. 💌
